Distance Education Technology Transfer Workshop
Learn to broadcast distance education programs from your park. Sea to Shining Sea employs a low-cost, easy to use LIVE backpack system to broadcast distance education programs to classrooms and audiences throughout the country. Students and teachers need only an Internet connection, a desktop or labtop computer, speakers, and a microphone to interact with National Park Service scientists, historians, educators, and rangers.
This workshop is jointly sponsored by the Southern California Research Learning Center, Cabrillo National Monument, San Diego State University Field Stations Program, and the High Performance Wireless Research and Education Network (HPWREN).
