Building upon lessons learned from the National Science Foundation funded High Performance Wireless Research and Education Network (HPWREN) Live Interactive Virtual Explorations (LIVE) pilot project, the Sea to Shining Sea (StSS) project is expanding concepts from the southern California-based work to several National Parks.

Specifically, the StSS team is working closely with HPWREN researchers on perfecting the development and implementation of a LIVE backpack for use between Cabrillo National Monument, Biscayne National Park, and an array of education sites.
